Tider is a local-first application. The AI that turns your documents into audio runs entirely on your own device. Your source documents, generated scripts, and generated audio are processed and stored locally — they are never uploaded to our servers.
What we collectWe only receive data when you choose to create an account or enable Pro cloud sync:
- Account: your email address, used to sign you in and identify your subscription.
- Pro cloud sync: if you enable it, your saved plans (the settings for an Ask → generate session) are stored on our servers so they can sync across your devices. Your documents and audio files are not synced or uploaded.
- Subscription: when you subscribe to Pro through the Apple App Store, Apple processes the payment and shares a subscription status with us. We never see your card details.
If you never sign in, we hold no personal data about you at all.
What we do not collectWe do not collect your documents, your generated audio, your location, or analytics about your on-device activity. The app functions fully offline without contacting our servers.
Third-party servicesModel files are downloaded from Hugging Face the first time you add a model. Payments and subscription management on iOS are handled by Apple. These providers have their own privacy policies.
Data retention & deletionWe retain account and synced-plan data for as long as your account is active. To delete your account and any synced data, email us at hello@tider.studio and we will remove it within a reasonable time.
ChildrenTider is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
ChangesWe may update this policy from time to time and will post any changes on this page.
